Schwalbe, the leader of bike tyre

Schwalbe is a German company specialising in the manufacture of tyres for bicycles and wheelchairs. Established in 1922, the company belongs to the Bohle family. The head office is in Germany and the subsidiaries in France, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, the United States and Canada. Schwalbe has distribution partners in 40 countries and has developed a production partnership with the Korean tyre brand Hung-A.

Schwalbe has developed several ranges to meet the needs of road biking, bicycle touring, mountain biking, trekking and e-biking pratitioners.

The Tour range

For versatile use: cycling tourism, riding on a daily basis or trekking. The leading product of this range is the Marathon Plus which is the only tyre in the world considered to be unbreakable thanks to a special protective undercoat rubber. Even if it's a bit heavier, it doesn't hamper its performance, and it's also resistant to the passage of time with very resistant flanks.

This range also includes tyres for electric bicycles.

The Route range

Several types of tyres in this range: traditional and tubeless tyres in the One family such as the Schwalbe One Pro which includes a MicroSkin coating. It's a very resistant fabric vulcanised with a mix of rubber and coating for good rolling and puncture resistance. Durano tyres last for miles, they offer good rolling capacity, grip and high protection. The tyre for home trainer: the Insider with a lower rolling resistance for your indoor workouts. The entry-level model Lugano for good performance at a good price.

The Offroad range

For mountain biking with the Nobby tyre for all disciplines: enduro, touring, all-mountain, cross-country. The Racing Ralph for speed, ultra light tyre with a good grip, the Hans Dampf for a good balance...
