Look, World leader in automatic pedals
LOOK is one of the French companies created in 1950, with the first activity being the manufacture of balloon bladders.
The company is one of the most innovative on the market, it was bought in 1983 by Bernard Tapie, it manufactured ski bindings at that time, and this, since 1956.
Inventor of the automatic pedal, the first carbon frame in 1986 and the first monobloc track carbon frame, LOOK is the world leader in automatic road pedal.
Look adapts this system to the bike and invents the automatic pedal for the bike, allowing you to remove your shoes in case of a fall.
Bernard Hinault won the Tour de France in 1985 with these pedals. In 1986, Look began manufacturing carbon frames, the first on the market. In 1998, the company was taken over following its bankruptcy.
Look recently invested in the wheel by acquiring a majority stake in Corima, a company specialising in the manufacture of carbon wheels. The two companies pool their know-how made in France and their willingness to innovate to best satisfy cycling enthusiasts.
