For more versatile use, the Hope Trail stem, lighter and stiffer than its predecessors, is ideal for downcountry, trail, and all-mountain riding. It features opposing fork steerer clamp bolts for exceptionally stiff steering and a two-piece faceplate for simple, play-free tightening. Like all Hope stems, it is optimally machined to reduce weight without compromising stiffness.

The Hope semi-integrated upper headset is machined from 2014 T6 Aluminum, intended for a frame and 1''1/8 straight steerer fork, with a 44mm head tube diameter. For more modern frames, the Hope IS41 integrated headset is compatible with 1''1/8 steerer tubes and 41mm head tubes, and features replaceable stainless steel bearings and a seal for increased reliability.
