A Frame is made of tubes with different lengths and thicknesses. It consists of a Seat Tube, a Top Tube, a Down Tube and a Head Tube.

How to choose the right MTB Frame?

There are several parameters to take into consideration when selecting a frame.

Your discipline will influence your choice (XC, Enduro, All Mountain, freeride, DH...). Many Cross Country riders are riding with Hardtail Carbon Frames while Gravity Riders will ride with Suspension Frames featuring a Sloping Top Tube. Geometry will vary according to your height and your type of riding.
Frame materials is also a very important aspect: top end Carbon frames are light and comfortable, Aluminium frames are light and less expensive, Steel frames are very comfortable but less stiff and heavier than other materials, Titanium frames are light, supple and strong.
And finally, you will have to choose between a Hardtail Frame and a Full Suspension Frame.
