MTB mudguards: protections for the driver and the MTB
The MTB mudguards are used to protect the rider's clothing and the stains from from splashing water and mud, so they're essential when you go out in wet weather.
There are several types of mudguards (wide and short, long and thin) that depend on the level of protection you want and several types of fastening: on the fork, stay, seatpost or seat rails.
The fenders are usually made of metal or plastic.
For downhill and enduro, a mudguard is attached to the fork to protect the pilot's face, frame and transmission, avoiding piles of mud.This type of mudguard is usually made of elastic fabric.
