The road bike derailleur
The road bike derailleur makes it possible to pass from one gear to the other by actuating a lever on the handlebar which will then move the chain laterally on the chain rings or pinions. It's composed of several elements including the front derailleur and the rear derailleur. On the rear derailleur, which includes a thread and tensioners to assist the passage of the chain, it's important to choose a short thread for road biking.
